Be Wild. Be Wonderful
A little about my yoga journey…
I began my yoga practice in January 2013 while traveling throughout Costa Rica. I lucked into becoming neighbors with a lovely woman that taught yoga and surfing. I took my first yoga class at the Nosara Yoga Institute’s tree top studio. The space was stunning and over looked the Pacific Coast. This ended up being the beginning of a spiritual shift, a new calm in my heart. I quickly realized the uplifting emotional benefits that yoga created in my mind as well as the stability being harnessed in my physical body. My practice has become the guiding force to me living a more simple, peaceful, and grounded life. I believe yoga is a nourishing form of moving meditation that calms your mind and instills self-love deep within the core of your being.
After graduating college with an Art Education degree I began searching for a new creative teaching outlet. The opportunity was presented to begin yoga teacher training and I knew I was exactly where I needed to be. I completed my 200-hour training and dove right into my teaching career. I’m currently continuing my education at the Asheville Yoga Center in North Carolina. I’m working towards my 300 hours which will certify me to be a 500RYT.
My newest endeavor is opening my own yoga studio in downtown Buckhannon, Wild Vinyasa Yoga Studio. The studio offers a blend of yoga, mediation, and art classes. I’ll be combining all my talents into one space. My motto for the studio is “Create a life you’re proud of living.”
I design each class with creativity and care to guide you through a light-hearted flow. My classes are open to all levels, a safe space for you to dive deeper into your practice. My hope is to hold space for you to feel calm, centered, strong, and free. It would be an honor to have you in class.
